Sara Layne wears multiple hats every day.
Working at Rhudy & Co. since 2008, Sara has enjoyed the variety of roles she’s been allowed to play — writer, project manager, researcher, traffic manager, technical adviser and administrative supporter.
She’s often the “go-to” teammate at Rhudy & Co. when something needs to be done or figured out, which requires her to smoothly transition from role-to-role and client-to-client. Sara is the project manager for our Design Practice Team.
Before joining Rhudy & Co., Sara graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s in English. She began her career in New York City for Cambridge University Press as a marketing associate where she implemented the first online catalog for the Press. As an account representative for DialAmerica Marketing Inc., Sara created telemarketing programs for more than 20 national magazines.
Back in Virginia, Sara worked for World Access as an account representative managing multiple travel companies. She then worked for Oliver Creative (now part of PadillaCRT). Sara juggled project management, resource management, account management and timeline management as well as office management and administrative duties.
