Fun Fact: Rhianan once took on a floral apprenticeship just so she could create the arrangements for her own wedding—and she still freelances for weddings and events whenever she can.

Rhianan loves turning compassion into action.

She is a research driven communicator whose work is grounded in empathy and a lifelong commitment to helping others.

Rhianan is driven by a deep belief that every person has a story worth hearing. She approaches her work with the conviction that everyone deserves respect, patience and the chance to be truly listened to. That instinct to understand people as individuals has shaped every chapter of her career.

Before joining the world of strategic communications, Rhianan built a foundation in data and research through roles at VCU Children’s Hospital, Stanford Health Care and Rehab Associates. In each role, her work lived at the intersection of analysis and empathy, blending quantitative insight with a genuine curiosity about the human experience behind the numbers.

Her commitment to service extends into her volunteer work with Children’s Home Society, Catholic Charities, and Fear to Freedom where she has supported children, families and survivors in moments that call for steadiness and compassion.

Guided by curiosity, Rhianan earned degrees in Neuroscience, Biology and Psychology, with a minor in Dance— a reflection of both her analytical mind and her love of movement. Dance remains a grounding force in her life; she has trained in nearly every style imaginable, from ballet and tap to AfroCaribbean and Irish step. When she’s not dancing, she’s practicing yoga or Pilates, reading autobiographies, or spending time outdoors hiking, skiing or simply being in nature.

Originally from a big New York family and the youngest of five, Rhianan now lives in Richmond’s Fan District with her husband (newlywed in October 2025) and their sweet, slightly clueless orange cat, Fortitude.
