Jonathan Rhudy likes to run.
From driving a hot dog car to driving a business, Jonathan Rhudy’s diverse work experiences help him create a custom approach for each client to reach their goals.
After graduating from James Madison University with a journalism degree, Jonathan Rhudy, APR, landed a coveted spot as a Hotdogger for Oscar Mayer serving up “meaty” puns and fun as a Wienermobile spokesperson at special events nationwide. Just ask him about some of the people, places and things he saw from the windshield of the 27-foot-long super sausage.
Jonathan has worked for two additional Fortune 500 companies: Capital One, where he coordinated internal communications, and Dominion Virginia Power, where he managed an electronic employee communications system.
For most of his career, Jonathan was an employee-owner at the now PadillaCRT in Richmond. He worked with dozens of technology, dot.com, energy and consumer product companies.
From his agency experiences, he’s most proud of leading the media relations team for the Experimental Aircraft Association’s Countdown to Kitty Hawk program – a centennial celebration of the Wright brothers’ first powered flight. His leadership of the EAA media team helped program sponsors, Ford Motor Company and Microsoft Flight Simulator, generate widespread international news coverage.
Through a hands-on, honest manner, Jonathan builds off his diverse work experiences and takes a custom approach to help clients use communications to reach their goals.
Jonathan is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America.
