Rhudy & Co. is honored to support the work of numerous nonprofits in Central Virginia. Periodically, we’ll share details about a few of our clients who serve our communities and make a difference in our lives.
Giving Makes Good Happen at Bon Secours
If you’ve ever seen a Care-A-Van, the RVs that bring free health clinics into some of the neediest neighborhoods in Richmond and Hampton Roads …
If you’ve ever heard the powerful testimonials of families served by Noah’s Children, Central Virginia’s only pediatric hospice and palliative care program …
If you’ve ever felt the warmth of compassionate from a nurse in your time of need …
Bon Secours' Care-A-Van is one of many community programs funded in part by the Foundations of Bon Secours Virginia Health System.
You’ve experienced just a small bit of the “good help” being supported through the Foundations of Bon Secours Virginia Health System.
With the message that “Giving Makes Good Happen,” the Foundations work in and through the community and Bon Secours in order to elevate health care for all.
Yet, the Foundations sometimes struggle to articulate their own message because the four Foundations are part of a large, popular and prosperous health system. Being part of Bon Secours Virginia Health System, yet also a separate arm that supports its mission, the Foundation works with Rhudy & Co. to help its audiences — employees, patients, and community members — to understand what it does, why it matters and why you might want to support its efforts.
At its core, the Foundations garner gifts and grants to
- help create healthy communities,
- advance clinical innovation and
- provide extraordinary care.
Through this work, they support the mission of Bon Secours — to give good help to those in need. Because Bon Secours Virginia is the Commonwealth’s fourth largest and only faith-based health system and because it is a nonprofit, the health system depends on donations to support its programs, keep on the cutting edge of medicine and help those without the resources to pay for medical care.
Nationally recognized with the nation’s highest awards for our cardiac, cancer and stroke care, as well as for many other practice areas, Bon Secours uses donations to go beyond simply providing basic health care to provide extraordinary care. The Foundations help Bon Secours fund programs, buy equipment and pay for training that might not otherwise be possible.
