Fun Fact: Sande once jumped out of a perfectly fine airplane in pursuit of a good story.

Sande Snead goes to every length for clients.

Whether playing a hospital patient in a video we are shooting or doing guerrilla marketing on the streets of Boston, Sande is a master at client service and creating well thought out, interesting and actionable communication plans.

Before joining Rhudy & Co. in 2013 as a consultant on our Business Strategy Practice Team, Sande worked for state agencies, a nonprofit, an association, a Fortune 500 and an advertising agency.

With more than 25 years of experience in public relations, marketing and advertising, Sande also has a bachelor’s and a master’s in mass communications and has won more than 50 state and national writing, marketing and public relations awards.

While leading the Virginia Department of Transportation’s centennial celebration in 2006, she was tapped to serve on the 50th Anniversary of the Interstate Highway System national communications team. She recommended that Dwight D. Eisenhower’s grandson travel in the cross-country caravan and blog about the experience. He did.

Sande serves on the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Board of Trustees and Man & Woman of the Year Board. In 2012, she was named LLS Virginia Chapter Woman of the Year for raising the most money during a 10-week campaign. She is a past president of Virginia Professional Communicators.

Sande’s work has appeared in books, magazines and newspapers, and she has pitched stories that have appeared in Good Morning America, CBS Evening News and The Washington Post.
