Small Business Saturday® is back on Nov. 24, thanks to American Express.
The daylong celebration, now in its third year, supports “the local small businesses that boost the economy and invigorate neighborhoods.”
What is Small Business Saturday?
Between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, this is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses nationwide. In 2011, more than 100 million people participated in Small Business Saturday, according to American Express.
As a small business, the Rhudy & Co. team admires the Shop Small® tagline for this year’s campaign. We love it when our corporate and nonprofit clients “shop small” and support us, allowing us to “think big” for them on employee communications, public relations and video productions.
American Express is working hard with a full-fledged online and offline marketing campaign to make Nov. 24 the biggest day of the year for small businesses. Learn more at ShopSmall.com.
Share on our Facebook wall how you’ll celebrate Small Business Saturday in your hometown.
Let’s all do our part this holiday season and help the fellow entrepreneurs and shopkeepers who create jobs, pay taxes, and support nonprofits. Did I mention, these small merchants typically sell the kind of cool, funky and unique gifts you can’t find in the big-box stores?
If you still need another reason to support Small Business Saturday, here are 25 more.
American Express® Cardmembers can enroll an eligible American Express® Card to GET $25 BACK WHEN THEY SPEND $25 OR MORE at a qualifying small business location on Nov. 24. Enroll to get your $25 back.
Here’s the legal lingo from the credit card company’s lawyers: “Cardmember enrollment in the offer is limited. Offer terms apply to Cardmember participation.”
